How to achieve these aims
Sports Health Check has developed a model by which transparent information on ‘nutrition’, ‘fitness’ and ‘achievable healthy lifestyle planning’ is combined to create healthier outcomes for the entire community.
1) The Program

Easy to understand information.

Combination of topics including: Nutrition, Health, Fitness / Physical Activity and Lifestyle planning and information.

Relates all of the information together to evoke healthier lifestyles and behavioural changes in all Australians.

Each program delivered to the specific needs of each community group, in order to achieve any lasting results or behavioural changes.

A ‘Training diary / Planner’ provided, encourages the means to log progress and plan your days/weeks (i.e. Shows individuals where the spare time is and how to use it best whilst keeping a record of activity and nutritional intake, goals for the week and how that can affects the way you feel)

A steady contact (Sports Health Check Trainer) is available to discuss progress, problems, achievements and concerns about the program.

Language and information used is body image sensitive to avoid encouraging disordered eating triggers.
